The h/p/cosmos saturn® 450/300rs offers the ideal system solution for in-line skating and cross-country skiing, particularly using the skating technique. With a running surface of 450 cm x 300 cm and a re-inforced very thick running belt it provides optimal diagnostics and perfect training opportunities in every season of the year.

Perfect training opportunities for in-line skating, cross-country skiing & skating technique on a treadmill

In March 2021, some athletes as well as biathlete Sophia Schneider, gathered at the saturn 450/300 rs at the the Olympic training centre in Ruhpolding to demonstrate the possibilities a running deck size of 4.5 x 3.0 m offers.

Electric access ramp for the saturn 450/300rs

The access ramp allows almost even access from the floor onto the belt of the running deck (running surface). The ramp automatically moves to the back and lowers down approx. 25cm, so the belt re-entry-zone (which is a dangerous capture zone for all kind of running machines) again is at an angle of 90° to the center of the roller while the running machine (running belt) is operated.

However, a minor risk at the belt-re-entry zone always remains with all running machines. Therefore this zone is always declared as a dangerous capture zone and this zone has to be kept free of persons and material.

When stopping the running belt, the ramp automatically moves back to approx. the level of the running surface and therefore allows an even mounting (access) or dismounting from the running deck to the floor.
