Due to technical reasons the wheelchair guiding (slide bar) is not usable for all models and width of wheelchairs available at the market. Due to the fact that there is no "universal design" of wheelchairs and/or handbikes and there are many different frame designs, it is impossible to supply a "universal clamp/fixation" for the wheelchair stabilizer. Thus the operator of the wheelchair/hand bike has to ensure, that the cross bar of the wheelchair stabilizer is fixed firm and properly to the frame of the wheelchair/hand bike to ensure sufficient safety. The wheelchair application is only allowed in combination with the safety harness (chest belt and fall-stop). Take care that the brakes on the wheelchair are deactivated (e.g. demount brake suspension). After use on the running machine the brakes have to be re-activated again. Before using the running machine for any application without a wheelchair (running, cycling, skating, etc.) the wheelchair stabilizer has to be dismantled for safety reasons.
