A life of work and profession hang in the balance when self-employed roofer Karlheinz fell down a ladder in late 2017. Diagnosis: incomplete paraplegia at 5/6 L.
Over various stages in his rehabilitation process, he continuously regained mobility, but gait therapy on treadmills really gave it a boost and massive improvement! As Karlheinz has never been used to giving up and always focussed on fighting back to normality, he decided to get an annex for his house to build his own training area and intensify the training even further.
Since November 2020 everything is put in place! He’s independently stepping out of the wheelchair and onto his h/p/cosmos pluto with long handrails and the body weight support from the airwalk unweighting system! His passion and motivation are outstanding! We wish only the best of success and keep up your great motivation!
And last but not least: also his wife has started to use the treadmill for her cardio and fitness workout!
