Manual pulling unit 1,25m 50N robowalk
The optional manual pulling unit is the perfect addition for treadmill therapy
and treadmill training with the h/p/cosmos robowalk expander system.
The thigh cuff is attached to the patient/subject. The expander
rope is equipped with hooks on both ends. There are integrated scales in the
hooks.
The expander end that is not attached tot he patient/subject is equipped with
universal noose and held by the trainer/therapist.
Thereby the trainer/therapist is able to apply a pulling force tot he patients/
subjects leg in any direction.
The pulling force can be read at the hook’s scale.
The read force is approximately concordant with the real pulling force.
(scale 1 = approx. 10N)
The read forces are not calibrated precisely!
Scale: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | STOP
So a max. force of approx 50N is possible.
This manual pulling unit matches perfectly for treadmill therapy/training:

- motion support for neurologic and orthopaedic problems
- force stimulation for excentric exercise

Besides treadmill training the manual pulling unit may also be used in
combination with parallel bars or for overground gait training.

Attention!
The expander unit must not be overloaded. „STOP“ at the scales end is an
indication to reduce the pulling force.
Expander unit must only be used by instructed trainers / therapists.
No pulling direction that may cause stumble.
When used on the treadmill a fall stop prevention system must be used
(h/p/cosmos airwalk unweighting system or h/p/cosmos safety arch with
safety harness and fall stop).
Take care that no part of the manual pulling unit, and/or parts of body or
clothing come close tot he danger zones of pull in points or moving parts of
the running belt.
